Cheyenne Transitional Center

The Cheyenne Transitional Center is a 126-bed residential adult co-ed halfway house located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The center provides job placement assistance and drug testing in addition to comprehensive residential services for offenders referred by the Wyoming Department of Corrections. The Cheyenne TC offers a number of programs for substance abuse, anger management, money management, parenting and life skills classes. American Correctional Association Accreditation is not required at this facility; however the company follows ACA Standards for Adult Community Residential Services.

Ladeana M. Ramirez was named administrator at Cheyenne Transitional Center in 2010. Previously, she served as assistant administrator and case manager. Before joining Avalon, Ramirez worked with the Cheyenne Police Department and as a case manager with Frontier Correctional Systems at both an adult and juvenile facility. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas.
