Corpus Christi Transitional Center

Corpus Christi Transitional Center (formerly Reality Ranch) is a 110-bed halfway house and residential treatment program. The Corpus Christi TC was acquired in November 2012 and contracts with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to provide Halfway House and Therapeutic Treatment programs. The program is licensed to provide drug and alcohol treatment by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

The Corpus Christi TC provides halfway house clients with case management, employment placement and reintegration programs, as well as 3 meals per day. Public transportation is located close to the facility. When clients are unable to take public transportation the company provides transportation to employment, employment searches, medical and dental as well as any additional off-site programming services.

Administrator: Deborah Gardiner

Deborah J. Gardiner was named administrator at Corpus Christi Transitional Center (formerly Reality Ranch) in 2012. Prior to that, Gardiner served as a counselor, clinical supervisor and program director. Before joining Corpus Christi Transitional Center, Gardiner was a residential counselor at Nueces County Adult Probation Department Residential Treatment Services and as counselor at Coastal Bend Regional Restitution Center/Substance Abuse Center. She also worked at Shoreline, Inc., where she was program administrator/director of Public Relations, clinical director, program director and unit director. Gardiner has also served as a counselor at several substance abuse centers. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in counseling from Texas A & M University.
