El Paso Multi-Use Facility

El Paso Multi Use Facility (MUF) is a 324-bed community residential facility. The Multi Use Facility is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services – Substance Abuse Division to provide substance abuse and treatment counseling. The El Paso MUF offers community residential programs for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for Halfway House, Supportive Substance Abuse Transitional Treatment Center, and Intensive Substance Abuse Transitional Treatment Center Services. The El Paso MUF provides extensive employment services programs, job readiness and development, life skills, and case management services.

United States District Court Outpatient Treatment Program - The El Paso MUF provides an excellent outpatient treatment program through a contract with the United States District Court - Western District of Texas Probation Office. The Federal treatment program is licensed for 100 outpatient clients by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Carlos F. Morales was named administrator at El Paso Multi Use Facility and El Paso Transitional Center in 2009. Prior to that, he served as an assistant administrator, business manager/human resources manager, captain, sergeant, corporal and correctional officer.
